My name is Aum. Aum in Thai means “pick me up”. I was born in Thailand more than thirty years ago. I am now living (happily ever after) in Scotland with my sweet and lovely husband and my dog. Before I came here, I worked in IT for more than a decade. I was right to choose to study computer science because computers are essential now and in the future. It would be difficult for me to live without my internet connection. I use it for reading news in Thailand, chatting with my friends, calling my family (VOIP), and searching for things I want to know. Aside from spending most of my time in front of my computer, if it is a warm and sunny day I will be outside working in my garden. In 2004, I discovered that I could paint. I have done five paintings so far.

At the beginning of 2005, I started writing a blog at Blogger. I wrote it so my friends and family could read and know how I am in Scotland. I wrote about my life, my garden and in September I started writing about my puppy, Pepper. Since then, most of my articles have been about Pepper.

In 2006, I started to spend my time seriously doing web design and development. I also decided to have my own website rather than just a blog. I wish to share my experience with anyone who comes here and finds something useful.
