Black Pepper - February 2008

I spent 2-3 hours a day drawing this picture. It’s my beloved Pepper. This is my 3rd pencil drawing. I drew it from the photo I took a week before. In the past, I would try to do it as much as I could in a day but this time I tried very hard to stop after doing it for couple hours. It took me about 5 days to finish this picture. I would very much appreciate your criticism.

Hi, Came across your site through xing. This picture is amazing. You’ve captured all the individual strands of hair and I like the light and shadow detail. I dabble with pencil & charcoal a bit in my spare time and you’ve just motivated me to dabble more!
