As I said in the last post, HG was getting better by the time we were in the limousine to the hotel. We were at the forth floor of Eaton Hotel waited to check in. What we should have done was going to check in on E-club floor, which dedicated for executive customers only. The girl who took care of us was still a trainee, so she was no so competence to deal with us. HG started to get too hot and sweating. Finally, everything was done, and we headed up to the room. We had Grand suite which has 2 rooms and a living room. Ong, one of my friends from Thailand who I love as a brother would come to join us the next day. He was in Beijing studying Chinese for almost a year. He had never been to Hong Kong before and it was a good opportunity for me to see him, because we haven’t seen each other since 2005 and I would not see him in Thailand this year.

There is quite a gap between my last post and this post. During this gap HG kept drinking champagne (Taittinger PréLude Grands Crus), glass after glass. I think he probably consumed about 2 bottles in total. He also said their white wine was very nice after doing a lot of research.

HG and I planned to have one month holiday in February 2007. At first we just wanted to go to Thailand to visit my family and friends. HG had quite a lot of BA Miles which could get us a free flight to Bangkok. But using BA Miles to Bangkok seemed to be impossible due to the lack of availability. The closest destination available was Hong Kong. So we changed our plan a bit to go to Hong Kong and spend about 4-5 days there since HG has never been to Hong Kong before. When I said he had a lot of British Airways miles, I meant a lot which not only got us free tickets to Hong Kong but First Class tickets. At first I did not agree to waste all the BA Miles for just one trip First Class but HG said this might be the only FIRST experience in our life time. So I agreed.

I just came back from almost one month holidays in Hong Kong and Thailand. We arrived in the UK on Wednesday in the afternoon. We went to get Mr. Pepper back from Alva on Thursday. Pepper was so excited to see us. He brought his toys to us and wagged his tail like crazy. Mum and dad said Pepper was a very good boy. Dad told me that since day one Pepper was with them Pepper became Dad’s shadow. He followed dad everywhere in the house. He whined a lot when dad went out.
We took Pepper back after lunch. Pepper seemed to be happy to return home. He is now going back to his own routines like he has never left the house. At first we thought he would follow us everywhere because he is afraid that we would leave him again but he does not.
I will talk about our trip in detail later. There are a lot to talk about.
