Brave boy…

Today is Pepper’s neuter day. It started with a bit of hunger because we could not feed him anything from 10 pm last night. He did not seem to understand why we did not feed him. Maybe he thought he did something wrong. It got worse when we had our “delicious” breakfast which was toasted sandwiches. We took him to the vet about 8:45am. He was so enthusiastic as usual and ran from the road to the surgery. The nurse said we could call to check about him between 12 and 1 pm but he would be ready to go home probably after 3pm. This was the first time that we left Pepper with someone else. I was a bit worried about his operation because of the anaesthetic. We went to the pet supermarket after my dental appointment to buy him some more toys for being a brave boy. HG took me to IKEA after that. I would like to go there many times but HG always refuses to take me there because it was always busy. HG called the surgery at lunch time and she said the operation went well and he was in recovery at that time and we could go and get him at 4pm. When we went to get him, he was so please to see us. He was as energetic as nothing had happen to him. I sat at the back seat with him on the way home. When we were home I gave him small amount of water and put him into his crate to sleep. He slept well until his dinner time. He was fine with his food, no throwing up. He was so lively, playing with his new toys. The vet said no running, jumping or excessive stretching for about 10 days. He will miss his Frisbee so badly.

Hi there - Just doing the rounds of the ‘Edinburgh’ area blogs. There’s a blogmeet on the 18th, in the Jolly Judge. More details on the Scottish Blogs website. pass it on.

Hi Aum, I’m also one of IKEA’s fan. I used to go Singapore branch for three times. I bought a few toys for my kids. For my recent trip to Singapore, I bought microwave-safe and freeze-safe bowls. There are five bowls in the set (variety of size). I bought it because its price is not expensive (around 150 baht) and it uses to win good design award as it stated in its label. However, after I use it for 3-4 times, I just noticed that they are made in Thailand. 5555. BTW, I am happy to have them.

Isn’t it funny how sometimes the surgery is harder on us (the humans) than it is on the pet? Glad to hear he did so well.
