I am back again…

I did not update my blog for a while. I hope my loyal readers will forgive me. There were so many excuses but the most important one was because I did not want to waste my time stuck in the house while there were so many things for me to do in the garden and at the end of the day, I got tired and not bother to do anything else.
I also have problem with my PC. I got an email which I thought it contained virus but at that time when I got it my anti-virus program could not detect any infection but I think it must be a virus. I did not run the file but I did not delete it. Once my anti-virus got updated and had the full system scan it reported an infection. I did not want to take any risk, I planned to format my PC but since I did not open the file, so I kept procrastinating. I finally did it last weekend because I got an email about undelivered email to address which I did not familiar. So I thought it was the time for me to stop being procrastinated. My PC is now fresh and clean again.
About my health, I went to have blood test on June 8th, 2005. The nurse took 4 tubes for different tests. She said they will test sugar and salt level, B12 and B9 level and Thyroid. I went to see the doctor to hear about the blood test results on June 14th, 2005. She said my B12, B9, glucose and salt were normal. She told me that my result about thyroid was not quite clear cut. She explained that there were 2 tests about thyroid, one from the brain to thyroid gland and level of thyroid. My result showed that the level from the brain to thyroid gland was quite low but thyroid level was normal. She said she would like me to have another blood test again next month.
I did some researches to get more information about what she said. I knew more about thyroid. The hypothalamus in the brain release TRH (Thyrotropin Releasing Hormone). The release of TRH tells the pituitary gland to release TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone), which I think this was the one the doctor said that I had quite low. This TSH, circulating in bloodstream, is what tells the thyroid gland to make thyroid hormones and release them into bloodstream. I did not realize that Thyroid is such an important thing. It controls your metabolism. I don’t know if it is because I did not have enough iodine since I came here I hardly have seafood. Haha, this could be my excuse to have more fish and chips.
We got a new car last Saturday. It was a Renault - Megane Sport Tourer 2.0 Automatic. I did have my driving lesson in this country with my lovely and sweet husband last Sunday. He was so patient. It was a bit difficult for me since the light indicator and the windscreen wiper were the other way round with my car in Thailand. So every time when I needed to turn left or right, HG had to tell me down - for turning left and up - for turning right. I also found that it was so difficult to maintain the speed to 30 mph.

I should have got an automatic car years ago. Changing gears is just so much hassle now…
