Lha’s visit (Part 3)…

Before I go on with Lha’s visit I would like to have a news break. It was about Pepper. Yesterday we had to take Pepper to see the V-E-T. HG saw a lot of spots at Pepper’s tummy and his hind legs. They looked very much like acne to me. The V-E-T said they are like skin infection. She said Pepper is the 4th dog this week that she treated for this skin infection. She said it’s not serious and gave Pepper antibiotics injection, some medicines and a bottle of shampoo to soothe his skin. Ok, end of the news you may now enjoy Lha’s visit (part 3).
On Monday, we all got up very early because we had to be ready to leave to house for Alva at 7:30am. We arrived in Alva around 9:30am. Lha and P’Lo brought some gifts from Thailand for mum and dad. Mum and dad love their presents. We went there just to drop Pepper off. Mum and dad helped us looking after Pepper for Monday and Tuesday when we were going up to Loch Ness. It was such a long journey to go there and back in a day so we decided to stay over night in Fort Augusta. We stopped to have our lunch at Bridge of Orchy. It was raining showery when we went out for a walk after we checked in. Just before the dinner time we went to the bar and had some drinks. Lha and P’Lo did not drink anything. HG had his rewards for being a driver, 3 pints of beer and I had my cola drink with ice. On that day it was still cold for Lha and P’Lo, so Lha criticised me about drinking cold water. I told her that no matter how cold the weather is my drink has to be cold. I don’t like hot or warm drink. That’s why I don’t normally drink coffee or tea. Finally it was time for dinner. HG and P’Lo had “A Medley of Smoked Venison and Frish Galia Melon with some watercress”for starter. Lha and I had broccoli and parsnip soup. P’Lo did not like venison as much because it was too salty for him so HG helped him to finish the last piece. For the main course, P’Lo had “Grilled Scottish Salmon Steak with a Smoked Salmon and Lemon Butter”and he liked it a lot. Lha and I had Plaice with some prawn. And HG had roast Lamb. For dessert P’Lo and Lha had Pear crumble with ice cream. I had Pavlova and HG had Raspberries Crème brûlée. We were all stuffed that night.
