Lha’s visit (Part 6)…

On Thursday Joanna came to pick up Pepper around 10am. We left the house immediately after she’s gone. We went to Craik Forest in Borders. We did not know how far it was and we did not plan very well about where to eat for lunch. When we were at Hawick, we thought that we would come back to have lunch there. But on the way to the forest there were so many sheep and lambs on the road, so we could not drive so fast. Once we got there everyone needed the toilet. We did not read the sign properly so it took us a while to find the toilet. After that we started walking to find the waterfall. It took us a while to work out about the sign and the map. It took a long time that we thought to get to the waterfall. We were so hungry by the time we got there. P’Lo had some chocolates and he shared them with HG who was so hungry. I was hungry as well but I do not like chocolate. I told HG that I had some dog biscuits and if I was so hungry I might eat them. He said he would be upset if I ate them. We did not spend a long time at the waterfall because we wanted to eat so much. The way back seemed to be faster and we went back to Hawick to have lunch. HG ordered all day breakfast which he said it was very good. Lha and I had bacon rolls with eggs. P’Lo had Fish and chips. He said it was ok but still could not beat the one in Eyemouth. Then we drove home. We all slept in the car after lunch except HG. It took a long time to get home because we were behind the cars which were driving so slowly and the road was not easy to overtake. When we got home, Charlotte brought Pepper to us. She said Joanna could not open our door and so did she. So Charlotte took Pepper and let him stay in her garden waiting for us. Pepper was so tired again. He was very quiet and did not bother anyone at all. He had his dinner and went to sleep by himself in the lounge. That night we had Thai style barbeque chicken with sticky rice and carrot salad.

Hi Aum & HG & Peper, I remember that your Som-Tum and Kai-Yang were very good. We wanted more Som-Tum. It looked like we ate Som-Tum, Kai-Yang, and Khao-Neaw in Thailand. Miss you all, Lha.
