My first ever hangover…

On Saturday night HG offered me an alcohol drink which was a bottle of Bacardi Breezer red current flavour. The taste of the drink was very nice and I enjoyed it. We played Scrabbles that night. I won the first game. At the second game I was a bit slow because of the effect of that drink but still lucky enough to win. I went to bed with a little bit drunk. My face was hot and red. I felt like I wanted to throw up but I did not. In the morning I had a headache and HG told me that I had a hangover. It was my first ever hangover in my entire life. I had the headache for most of the day.

Yesterday was HG’s birthday. I planned to cook him a very nice three courses meal. I started preparing after my lunch. I made Lychee and Ginger ice cream and took Pepper out for a walk. When we came home it was about the time that I had to stir the ice cream. After that I told Pepper to go to his crate and had his afternoon nap. He went to the crate and started snoring. I started to prepare dessert which was Chocolate Brownies Cake. After the cake was in the oven I washed all the bowls and cutleries. Then I cleaned the kitchen and dinning room. I prepared the table with plates, cutleries, candle, flowers, and wine. After the house cleaned and the table was prepared I started to cook my first course which was the French Onion Soup. I love this soup and I think HG likes it too. It was very easy to make but it take times to cook the onions if you wanted it to develop the nice taste. While the onion soup was cook, I started preparing my main course which was roasted chicken breasts with sour cherry sauce and roasted potatoes. By that time HG was home and he was surprised that I made special meal for him. We had dinner a bit early that day, we finished the main course by 6 pm and it was the time to feed Pepper. After that HG took Pepper out to the wood and I cleared up the dishes and prepare to serve the dessert. My chocolate brownies cake was very nice with the Lychee and ginger ice cream. I was tired after the meal. We played Scrabbles again and HG won 2-1.

Thank you for the excellent meal. I really recommend this restaurant

Just be glad you didn’t try to cook a meal like that with a hangover. I have had too many to count, but none in the past five years or so. I feel for you. They are not fun. (And sometimes it is better if you do throw up.) Your meal sounds delicious. And romantic too! I am still so relieved for Pepper. We do love our pets.
