Neuter Plan…

We have an arrangement with the vet to neuter Pepper next Friday (3rd February, 2006). It was the vet’s suggestion since Pepper’s first visit. I tried to find on the internet if there is any drawback of doing this but I could not find anything. Everyone said that if we do not have any plan to breed from him we should get him neutered. They said he should be neutered at an early age to prevent unwanted pregnancies, minimise aggressive male behaviour, and to lessen the chance of some forms of cancer. We plan to microchip him at the same time as well. So next weekend he will not be able to run around in the wood for a while.

Pepper loves the Frisbee. He loves to chase after it and always bring it back to us to throw for him again and again. We could use the Frisbee to distract him over the other dogs. I always said Come or come on or come here when he tried to bring the Frisbee back to me. So he could associate Come with good thing. I also could tell him Off to stop him from going to the rubbish in the wood. He made us proud.
