Pepper is so good today…

Pepper threw up after his breakfast on Wednesday and Thursday. I read on the internet about puppy vomit in the morning. They said try to feed the puppy about a handful of his food before bedtime. It might be because of the acid in his stomach that causes the problem. He did not throw up after other meals. So last night at about 11:00 pm before we went to bed HG gave Pepper a handful of his kibbles. Pepper drank quite a lot after that. This morning I fed him as normal. After his meal I gave him a rawhide stick. When he was in the middle of chewing the rawhide, he stopped and dropped his rawhide and showed me his threw up signal. I went to get his food bowl and tried to stroke his head. He did not throw up and manage to go back to his rawhide and finished it. Whew!…
After I groomed him and played fetch the ball in the house for about 15 minutes, I took him out to the wood. We met Hamish, the white highland terrier. I told Pepper to sit before I let him off the leash to play with Hamish. He sat nicely. I had a little chat with George, Hamish’s owner, about his vegetable garden. When we almost reach the second path I asked George where he would go next. He said he would turn back. So I had to put Pepper back on the leash otherwise he would follow them. Pepper was still playing with Hamish. I told him to sit and stay and he did. I put him on the leash and gave him a biscuit. I was so impress. This is the first time I could put him back on the leash without chasing him around or asked the other dog’s owner to catch him for me. I was upset with him last night when I had to chase him around the other dog, so I told HG that next time I will tell him to sit and stay and it seemed to work. I have to practice with him more.
