Pepper is wounded…

This year we decided to make Christmas cards for our family, friends and neighbours from one of my paintings. We chose the painting of Pencaitland Parish Church this year. I ordered them from Vistaprint. The quality of the printing was excellent.
Yesterday Charlotte’s husband, Graeme, came to our house before he went out for his company’s party. He just wanted to let me see him wore his kilt.
Today we took Taggie out for a walk with Pepper. Pepper was Taggie’s shadow again. He followed her everywhere she went. If I were Taggie I would be annoyed too. After we came back Charlotte’s Graeme came to our house with his ladder. He came to help me clean the gutter. Our gutter was full of grass, pointing and moss. He was so kind that he did not wear kilt today.
In the afternoon when we were on the way back to the house after walking Pepper, we met Douglas. He was cleaning his car. He has two dogs both of them are Gordon setters named Wallace and Moray. Moray is one week younger than Pepper. When Pepper was in front of others he was too excited and never listened us. It was so embarrassing. Doug went to get Moray to play with Pepper. They were playing quite rough with each other. At one point we all heard a big yelp from Pepper after he tried to get attention from Moray while he was trying to chew his rawhide. It was Pepper’s ear that was in Moray’s mouth. There was some blood. His ear was a bit torn but not too severe. We took him back, cleaned the wound and put some antiseptic cream on. Then we gave him a brave boy biscuit and put him to his crate to sleep. He did not whine at all.
