Shooting star…

I just came back from walking Taggie. Today I just had a little walk with her just for her to do her business. She seemed to be disappointed when I told her to head home. I got some twigs from the branches that people cut their trees and dumped in the wood. I will put them around my vegetables bed because black bird and his wife always there to pick this and that and I am afraid that they will accidentally pick my vegetables.
I bought these plants last year. They are called Dodecatheon(doh-dek-ATH-ee-on) Meadia or Shooting Star. I got them as tubers; I was not sure at that time that I would get any flowers.
One of my strawberries has the first flower.
My chili I grew from seeds last year has some flowers now. I hope I will get some chilies this year.
Yesterday I made a small greenhouse for Jonathan (Charlotte’s son). He asked me to put his watermelons to my greenhouse but my greenhouse is not wide enough to grow watermelons. The watermelons grow along the ground. So I made this for him, so he could take it home and take care of it himself.

Jonathan is very chuffed with the greenhouse you made for him - thank you, Aumi! Of course, you have now reached semi-divine status in our house - if ever something is needed, the boys will say ‘Maybe Aum’s got it!’ - whatever it is LOL!
