Taggie at the beach…

Taggie is having sunbathing

Friday was a holiday in Thailand, The Buddhist Lent Day, so the stock market in Thailand was not open. I decided to wash Taggie because she was a bit smelly. She was fine but not as enthusiastic as Woody was when he saw me carrying his shower stuffs. After the wash, I dried her with her towels and let her spent almost all day outside having sunbath. She seemed to enjoy being in the sun like almost all British do.

Carrot Cake

We have quite a lot of carrots in the fridge, so I think I should use them otherwise I have to throw them in to the bucket soon. I made carrot cakes. In the recipe I supposed to make in a big cake tin but I did like carrot cupcake instead. I used marzipan to make a small carrot at the top. It took me about one and a half hour in front of the television to finish the carrots. I used parsley leaves to garnish as carrot leaves.

Taggie at the beach

When HG came home, we decided to go to the beach so Taggie can have a good run. We went to Longniddry beach again. It was not as busy as last time we went because it was a bit cold. Taggie seemed to enjoy when I tried to run after her. When we headed back to the car, we saw Taggie laying on her back on something. HG thought she needed a back scratch but I knew it must be something dead. Yep, it was a dead fish. She did it twice with the different fishes. That night Taggie slept so much.

Bird I found on the beach

On Saturday, we went to the beach again but different one. This one is in Dirleton. It is called Yellow Craig. It was quite busy and we had to pay to park. The sand was a lot nicer than the one in Longniddry, but because it was busy there were a lot of dogs there. We tried to get Taggie in to the water but she did not like it. I tried to tell her to dig for the rabbit on the sand near the water, when she was concentrated on digging the wave came in and got her. On the way back to the car, I saw a bird was on the seaweed. It could not move. So I afraid it would be drown, I moved it to the higher bit.
